The University of Glamorgan was established in the year 1913. The campuses of the University are based in Glyntaff and Treforest both near the scenic town of Pontypridd. There are around 21,500 students enrolled at the university which includes around 3,200 overseas students. The University functions via 5 different faculties: the Cardiff School of Creative and Cultural Industries, the Business School, the Faculty of Advanced Technology, the Faculty of Health, Sciences and Sport, and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
